Plasma Park
So, what is Plasma Park?
Plasma Park is where avatar based movement meets chat room. You can basically create a user and simply walk around rooms/areas and chat to others. Theres more to it though. With new fashions in the internet world coming along almost daily Plasma Park is keeping itself updated and will allow users other privilages. These will be disclosed at a later date, however, think web2.0.
When Will Plasma Park be Released?
A beta will be on display 1st January 2007, after this event has taken place and feedback has been carefully considered we will look into a launch date.
What Is A Beta
A promotional launch/beta is merely an advertisement of a future product. At Plasma Park we are currently advertising our presence on the internet and allowing users to find out some basic information about us as well as check out progress and test the latest versions of the client before the big launch.
How does it work?
The Plasma Park client is coded in macroemdia director 8.5 and is comprised around lingo. The server is currently built in visual basic but will be upgraded into something more reliable at a later date. How it works is really rather simple. The client sends information to the server which it then looks at and distributes to all clients currently connected, effectively informing them of the change. This is typically how a user can see another move.
