I was scowering the boards for some free fansite layouts and i found some, however they are all image files and not html files.

Just wondering how i can use them :S

If i format the image to background in forntpage it simply mass layers it everywhere. By that i mean the image and identical image beside it.

All i want is to use a gif image of a background i found.

Any help would be appreciated :S

Slightly confused..

In the HEAD section of your page you put this:

<style type="text/css">
<!--
body {
background-image: url(http://yourside.com/yourdirectory/imagename.extension);
background-repeat: no-repeat;
}
-->
</style>

Put the above under the <TITLE> or something

OR

In the BODY part of your page you put this:

<body background="http://yourside.com/yourdirectory/imagename.extension">

Use what I said.

Seeing as it looks like you don't have that much HTMl knowledge (no offence), you need to cram everything in the 1 page

I tried the css script but when i hit preview in frontpage it simply appears as a sunk square with the css code in it.

The bottom code you gave me is the identical to formatting the image into the background. Of which when i do that, gives me multiple images all over the page instead of just one.

Annoying how 1 task is so complicated..

+ rep for you all that help anyhow

I appreciate it.

Edit...

Tis working now, cheers everyone :) +rep for you all

Frontpage doesn't recognise this.

Try uploading the file it will work :)
