My habbo account is -=rareslover=-. When I log-in to habbohotel, you will surely find me in one of the trade rooms. I love to trade, and I have been making a lot of good deals. But I have been scammed a few times. Although I didn't loose much, but if your a poor habbo, most of your stuff is valuable to you. I have made a list of ways to avoid scam, and I hope you will find it useful.

1. Make sure the dealer/host is the owner of the room.
2. See if that person rich, rich people usually don't scam.
3. Don't donate in any games, its usually not worth it.
4. Don't be too greedy, sometimes prizes are too good to be true.
5. Don't trade your habbohotel account with accounts like neopets and other RPG sites, they can easily get your password.
6. Never trade pets and "rares" in presents, they are usually filled with plasto or stool
7. Never trust anyone; Trade only with the "Safe Trade Box"
8. Don't change your email to whatever they tell you to, they can get your password easily.
9. Remember there is no such thing as "Instant Furni Maker" or "Triple Your Furni"
10. Don't play casino games, the game of 13/21 is rigged so that the dealer has 75% chance of winning.

There are lots of ways to scam other ppl. I have been a victim to some of these. I hope no one would ever be tricked by these, so take a look and be careful. If you know other ways people are been scammed, please tell me so I can add to this list :D


Casino Scam:

The owner create clones and then give them the rights, and then he uses the clones to be the "dealer" in the casino. If you win the bet, that clone would run off with your furni. If you report the "real" owner, they will say that they are not responsible, but they are the one who really took your furni.

Falling Furni Scam:

The owner again will use their clones, but the clone will be one of the "player" in the game. If the clone loose, the clone will always "revenge" or "pay to stay". Then you will be forced to use your furni as well. The clone will eventually be the winner, because the clone can NEVER run out of furni.

Job Scam:

The owner will say that he has a place that has job opening, and the pay is very very high. But you have to donate to get a job. Then when he gets a lot of donations, he will take everything in his room and transfer all his stuff to another account. Then you will never see the owner again.

All these scams involves you donate your furni and think that you can get more in return. But guess where the "more" furni comes from? I can be sure that the owner is not stupid and give you the "more" furni. So a way of avoid been scammed by these scams are to not be greedy, and don't give your furni to other ppl for nothing. :eusa_naug

first of all DONT TREBBLE POST!!! and secondly the game 21/13 the dealer hasnt got a 75% chance of winning. both the dealer and the better has a 50% of winning and how can you have a better chance of winning the dices are random! and how can they be fixed! no 1 can fix the dices!

well, if the dealer wins on a tie, then yes, the odds are very lopsided to the dealer. And for another casino tip, offer the dealer ur self, dont get offered by them, and b4 putting furni in make sure its the owners real name (look for 0 instead of O, 1 instead of l or extra periods or letters) and clik the dealer u want to play against and make sure it says there trading, cuz if they arent, then its not them. and dont bet the owner unless there are lots of people in the room, cuz they will be more tempted to scam if ur the only one

yes, but, if player goes first, the player will have the chance of loose even before deal can go, because the player can go over. So the player can loose even before it is dealer's turn. I find that very very unfair. So because of that the dealer has a much greater chance to win

that is very true, so if they know what comes up on which dice, they can use it to their advantage
