Fantastic Four 2 basically. I saw the Teaser Trailer a few days ago and it looks amazing! I'm glad that they're making a sequel.
Plot Outline: The Fantastic Four learn that they aren't the only super-powered beings in the universe when they square off against the powerful Silver Surfer and the planet-eating Galactus.

Thats what I thought, I looked at a few of the topics on imdb and found out that they actually haven't had anything to do with the Silver Surfer. Dunno if they've ever had anything to do with that giant planet-eating alien dude, Galactus. All the story lines are in the comics and i've never read them. I'm just obsessed with Marvel films and games. :P
EDIT: After reading one of the topics it looks like the Silver Surfer is on Galactus' side but then turns good to fight him with the Fantastic Four or something.

Yeah, but that's stupid, Silver Surfer has never been on Galactus' side

Are you sure? I swear that I read somewhere that Silver Surfer was created as a servant for Galactus. :s

I'm guessing that the FF turn him good to beat von doom or galactus or something. Aparrently galactus appears at the very end though. But other sites say differently. I just want to find out the actual plot now. :P

Also, the Plot Outline has changed abit. Galactus is not in the movie, but some rumours say that there might be a short scene with him in at the very end. There will be a Fantastic Four 3, because Chris Evans (Human Tourch) has signed a contract to be in 3 Fantastic Four films. Also, Dr. Doom is back. :P

i went to the movies the other day and was dragged along to see this film. i thought it was gonna be a bore, but it was actually very good. i haven't watched the first film though.
all i understood was that silversurfer was working as a servant for some 'planetary force thing' that eats up life from other planets. silversurfer works for this 'thing' so that the 'thing' would spare the silversurfer's home planet.
all in all, it was quite awesome, i'd like to see the first film if given the chance.

I just got back from seeing it today and it was awesome! A major improvement from the first film. I honestly thought it was as good if not better than Spiderman 3. Although in my opinion, the film was too short. They rushed the stroy a bit, but it's still an amazing film!
I think that the Silver Surfer wouldn't have actually been able to beat Galactus though. Galactus is the most powerful supervillian in the whole Marvel universe, yet he was killed so easily. If he appears in the third Fantastic Four film and we come to understand that he wasn't actually killed, then that might make more sense.
For anyone who has seen the film, but rushed out as soon as the credits came on - There is actually a scene about 5 seconds in to the credits. It shows the Silver Surfer floating in space, possibly dead, then it shows his board also floating in space. Then the board stops floating, and drives itself to the Silver Surfer. Then it ends.
If I was making FF3 I'd make it so that neither Galactus or the Surfer are dead, but Doom fimally is. He drowned in the sea. I would make it so the Surfer comes back to Earth, because Galactus is going to destroy it for revenge. Then the Fantastic Four, Silver Surfer and possibly some others will have to team up to defeat Galactus. :P

I don't know if any of this counts as a spoiler so I'll put it in one anyway
There is a lot of information in FF4:2 that they left out in the film, the only briefly mentioned Galactus, let alone his significance in the world. I believe he's one of the 5 entities of the universe, as part of, he created the universe and keeps the balance, if he or the other entities were to be destroyed, the universe would collapse- or at least something similar. I think there's him, Oblivion, Infinity, Death and Life or somethig, maybe not life.
I'm not sure what they did in the film at the end, it's not in the Fantastic Four comics that he has the power to stop him. Also, the Silver Surfer can't bring life to anything so they ruined it when the Invisible Woman died. Speaking of, I didn't like how they killed her off, it was predictable that the Silver Surfer (or something) would bring her back.

Yeah I read about that somewhere. Theres definatly Death and I think theres one called Eternity. I also remember reading somewhere that he was born on plant taa in the previous universe and that he survived in the universe before the big bang or something, so he could have very well created the current universe.
Actually, the story in the film is all wrong. Alicia Masters is meant to convince the Surfer to turn against Galactus. :S Then the Surfer distracts Galactus so that Uatu can send Johnny to Galactus' ship so he can steal the Ultimate Nullifer. Then Reed uses the Ultimate Nullifer to force Galactus to spare Earth, then Galactus punishes the Surfer by trapping him on Earth. I know all that because I've completed the Marvel Ultimate Alliance game and it tells you the story. :P Maybe they're saving some of it for FF3. :S

Mega spoiler about Galactus below.
Galactus is show as or in a cloud in the film. Obivously because they didn't want it to look stupid. Galactus is some massive dude that flys in a spaceship bigger than planets, I don't think they could have pulled it off any other way other than putting him as a giant cloud. But anyway... You do actually get to see a little glimpse of Galactus in the cloud. You can't see any details on his face or anything (He is mainly show as an explosion/fire), but you can see the shadow/outline of his helmet. I am CERTAIN it is him. Anyway, just watched the last part again on Tv-links and screenied the bits where you see him.

In the two pictures above you can just about make out his helmet. Espically in the second picture. Just look at the darker part of the cloud.

In the first picture of the three pictures above, if you look at the darker parts of the explosion you can see the outline of his helmet. It even looks like you can see an eye and mouth in that bit aswell.
In the last two pictures you can obviously see Galactus' helmet. I know some people will probably go 'Oh thats just an explosion and the pattern it exploded in.' Well, the explosion/fire stays in the same position throughout that scene. Explosions cannot stay still.
You can see the resemblance!
