they are not dumb, because some villages in africa are getting things maybe not all of them but some. Every little helps, okay if the whole world donated a pound problem solved but not everyone could afford a pound. £1 can give education to a kid in africa for 1 year, thats helping as then the kid can pass on his education to other kids and a cycle starts
