Ive linked this in to other forum requests before related to the webdesign sections, but had no response.

What are the chances of a dedicated programming forum being introduced, for visual basic, C++, Java, python or what ever else people may choose to program in?
the current forums only cover scripting languages (non compiled) like php, perl, javascript etc used in webdesign, as opposed to programming for a normal computer?

So could a programming forum possibly be added as an addition to the tech and web forum category?

Thanks :D

There are very few people on this forum that can code Visual Basic, C++ etc.

I believe that there won't be much interest in it. If you want one, start a petition in tech talk asking how many people know a programming language and if they would have any interest in a programming forum. That has been proven to be the best way to go about these things.

Despite how much I would love to see this forum I doubt we will be seeing it anytime soon in the future just because I think general interest is just not there for that topic and I can see you becoming the only true leader of the forum.

No one would want it, i asked for a football forum and thta got turned down, where football is 100x more popular then Programming, although both would be a very good add to the forum.

But there aren't even any posts on programming if you look in the coding forums now, so that gives an indication if the forums were added they would not be used.

I know only a few people here (including myself) that program, and I think a section of HxF would be unnecessary. There are entire Forums dedicated to each language, and if you wanted help it would be far more helpful to ask 10,000 people who know what they're doind, rather than 10 people here.

And if it's because you know people here, Private Message them :)

Thats becuse they are codeing forum... about coding? aka scripting languages (non compiled).
Programming, aka compiled languages, or at least semi compiled with java, would be off topic, i would post tutorals, help people out, suggest compilers etc, if a forum did exist for it. And i know a few members who do program and i exspect other people would be interested in it as well if a forum existed "/ The web design and tech forums are already a very active part of habbox, this would just be futher expantion "/

Is the section relevent. Look on the whole of the forum and you will find very few posts. I agree with ReviewDude
