Heh, just came back from that match.

Went up 1-0 thanks to Lampard, then they equalized by Murphy, then 1 minute later, Lampard picks up another goal, 2-1, but it didn't finish there, Lampard got 1 more by penalty, and the goalie got sent off.

Then, 3 other plays scored, Shaun wright-phillips scored one, Carvalho scored one, and someone Mikel Obi? can't remember his name, but the whole game was amazing.

when the keeper got sent off it wrecked the game... macclesfield gave up a good fight until then :(

You get the thousand odd neutrals who'll pop along to the really big matches. Shame they're not there to see Macc play the likes of Grimsby and Notts County.

Lol no-one knew what was happening when the goalie went off, Shevchenko was running in, goalie came in smothered his feet and Shevchenko fell over in such an awkward way, then they both were down on the ground, then the goalie got sent off, but no one knew he was sent off for a while :P
Then my dad said 'Hey they only got 10 men' then we knew...
Was quite funny the first 3 goals, we scored, then not long later they score, and they're like 'Who are ya' Who are ya!', then exactly a minute later, lampard scores, and they're all quiet rofl.

I agree with the above post in that sending off the keeper ruined the game although I still think Chelsea would have won anyway.
