Yeah, Roots are amazing. And my friend made me listen to Fugazi. He's a huge punk/ska kid, he loves Against Me! and Latterman and tons of local bands, a lot of my friends are like that. He said I'd like them because I like SDRE. I dont see a connection, but maybe Im dumb. Them and Against Me! sound a lot alike by the song he played.
Ill just do PopPunk so people cant argue with that (even though it isnt popular)
PopPunk- The Thermals.

Newer Against Me! is a bit lame, the Reinventing Axl Rose and Acoustic EP records were so amazing.
Latterman takes a while to get, tbh I just love them for the insanely catchy choruses.
Yeah Latterman were once described as 'Long Island's answer to Against Me!'
But if you like SDRE try Cap'n Jazz, you probably already have, but whatever. Oh and look up Street Smart Cyclist on Myspace.

Haha, my friends think the same exact thing. I think Ive heard Cap'n Jazz, not sure though. I still need to get the later SDRE albums, havent had a chance to get them yet even though theyve gotten insanley good responces.

Yeah they are a great band, lucky for you - Birmingham seems to get alot of great concerts ha.
I forgot to add;
Jazz - Jamie Cullum
Country - Johnny Cash, I don't think anyone could be better than him at it although a fair few might disagree & say Dolly Parton who was also pretty talented.
