Our Hotel Manager... Crap or shut my trap?

Hi there.

On Friday, I was logged onto Habbo UK but was also on the Habbo USA Homepage and noticed that there was 3,366 users on UK and 9,543 users on USA. This was at 4:15pm-6:00pm UK time which would have been roughly between the hours of 11:00am-1:00pm USA time when most of America would have been in School, and I highly doubt over 9,000 users would be absent from School just to play Habbo Hotel. This must mean that alot of members from .co.uk have left and gone onto .com.. But why?

If you have noticed (which you probably have) Habbo UK has became extremely boring since Callie stepped down from the position of Hotel Manager, when she was in control we would have updates daily ensuring that we had fun during our stay there, she would log on daily to interact with the users and there would be some great competitions and events for us all to take part in.. But does Lost_Witness (Chris Burton) do this? No he doesn't. We are lucky to get 1 update a week and when we do it's more than likely to be another Celebrity Visit. If you visit Chris's myspace you will notice that all of the Celebrity visits we have had are the people he likes and not who we like. Lack of User Interaction I think?

He is also late with all updates he promises and announcements of prizes, the competitions he arranges are in the politest words possible Crap and I personally think we should have a more dedicated Hotel Manager. What do you think?

This doen't bother me because by the time you have clicked "Ok" on the alert, the room has 60/50 habbos in it and even if you do get in, your chances of winning the game (no matter how good you are at it) are very low because of all the lag. If you do win, the prizes are never really any good (on HM standards). :rolleyes:

I think the best HM UK have had was ione (probbaly because of her birthday gift) :P but I missed her by a month or two I think. :(

To be honest im not realy botherd who the manager is aslong as they actually do things. I agree callie was a good manager had had daily updates. Look on the homepage look when lost witness's last update was.

About the USA users, not all of them are from America..

Just realise over half of the UK players dont live in UK.

Lets start.
1) America has a population of 300 million, let's say 1/5 of them are children. That's 60 million.
2) The UK has a population of 60 million, let's say 1/5 of them are children. That's 12 million.
3) America has different time zones, so if it was 4-6 UK time. It would be 7am - 1pm across America.
4) Not all players of Habbo go school
5) Some of them might not gone back to school yet
6) Lost and Colmc are ill, meaning that they are no site producers at all, meaning no events, updates etc.

The UK aren't going to the US in boredom. Most of the UK players would miss all of the US events unless they stay up till midnight.

I know where you're coming from, I remember when Callie was around the UK hotel would get 13,000 at peak times, I hardly ever, if at all see this now. I don't think it's about a bigger population because the US would always get about 11,000 at peak times also, I just think Habbo has changed a lot, but I don't blame Lost_Witness, I think hes just learning things, just need to give him a chance, I do think him and colmc work great as a team and he does have a lot of good qualities, but I do miss Callie.. :P

I am Canadian but play on the uk site because well, I joined in 2003 and habbo canada wasn't around until june 2004
I find the uk site more fun, even if my timezone is eight hours behind.
I don't play habbo .com because I don't know anyone there, I have no furniture, no interest in talking to Americans.
The uk is the only habbo site I play on since I know what everything is worth,I have credits, my canadian friends play it and I know alot of people.
And as for the topic of this thread.
Well, I have never actually cared for the hotel manager
I am only on the game to talk to normal people, trade stuff, play games.
Not talk to habbo famous people. It really doesn't matter to me who runs the place as long as it runs.
I m not even caught up on any of these new hotel managers.

No Callie was the worst.

Now, I don't think Chris is that bad, and if there are less people on the UK hotel, so be it, does it have much to do with him? America is way bigger than the UK, and who knows? Maybe adults could be playing. Also -- There's no such thing as 'American Time' I live in America, there're quite a few different time zones.

But I think Chris is pretty good, not as good as Ione, but he's good, way better than Callie... God she was horrible. I'd like to see maybe more than 1 person running habbo at the same time or something, more progress.

How do you know that loads of people have gone to USA from UK. In my opinion it's more the opposite way around their's loads more Americans on the UK.

Also. By those numbers I would say that you got it the wrong way round as habbo USA never reached 9,543 people whenever I go on the home at those times.

Also, Also, you really want Callie back, by the way she left, it would state that she was not dedicated to Habbo UK at all as if she was then she would be still be manager until her time was up :s.

Out of all the things L_W has done, I think he's more to the good side, he's got rid of the hatred of the Hotel Manager and remember all the protests over Callie? no more of that.

The falling visiting numbers haven't been down to Lost_Witness, it's been widespread over all the hotels, that's why I think Sulake are making all these new features on V11 and V12 because they realise they need to pay more attention to the users.

Numbers are picking up now, I saw 10,000 on the other day which I haven't seen since summer.

I don't think any of the Hotel Managers (past or present) have done a bad job because if they had done they would be suspended or fired from Sulake, Sulake as a company will not take any crap from employee's and will not hesitate to find replacements.

Lost_Witness is slowly coming out of his shell however having said that Colmc, the latest edition to the Habbo UK office has done more public work with users.

Justine spent every waking moment in the hotel, I don't mean to sound rude but she had no real social life. Or not one that was obvious. This is why she interacted with Habbo's so much and this is why we liked her.

Chris isn't bad but in my eyes Justine was the best to date.

Favouritsm or not, she brought huge profits to Sulake.
