According to Times Of India newspaper, she was paid a whopping Rs 3.15 crore (Rs 3 150 000) (Approx £34 921.88) to go on CBB.
Rs 3.15 crore is a LOT of money in India.


The actor who has been selected to play a part in the UK hit reality TV series Big Brother is leaving for London next month.

She is the first Indian to be a part of the show and the buzz is that she was signed on for a whopping Rs 3.15 crore for the same, regardless of her winning or losing in the show.

I dont watch Hindi movies now, but all my cousions (who live in India) said she is a crap actor.
And 35k might not be a lot here, but it is in India, thats why I said ALOT

She's still getting so much more than the money, that's probably not even a lot to her. (Excluding people who have lived in India or most parts of Asia), had you heard of her before she went in? Probably not. Do you know who she is now? Yes. And I'm guessing if one of her movies came on you would watch it to see what kind of actress she is, I can't help doing that, just like when one of Ken Russel's films came on Film4.
