I am a person who is in a simular position as many others. How do you find someone who you can go out with who's the same sexuality as you? Well, as many comment, they struggle to come out anyway. Prehaps you should try talking to a female who you trust as this way, there's no funny buisness if you see my point. Girl's are very knowledgeable on relationships, and infact, the first person I told was a close female friend of mine on Habbo. The point is, girls don't mind as long as your honest. They shall still like you, and not spread it if you choose the right person. However this may stand more for Gays than Lesbians.
But dating, that's a hard one. There isn't any way that we can do it easily. From the age of eighteen you are permitted to use dating services, like Match.com. But when your say, thirteen to fifteen it's hard. If you still have these kind of feelings at thirteen, and you've covered alot of your development, it's probably true. Your homosexual. And you may feel stressed to be something your not. People used to call me sad because I spent alot of my time playing Habbo. They said I needed to get out more, meet some girls. But I just waved it off. But people put you under pressure. People can do pranks which put you under pressure because girls are sensetive, and you do not want to upset them, and by doing what you think is partially correct, can result in you being something your not. Which is where you really need to go see someone like Connections. For some it's easier, places like Blackpool have specialised advisors because they are used to Gays and Lesbians coming and asking for help. Most High School's have Connections in them, and some large towns have a main centre in them. Try talking to them.
The truth is, there's no easy way of dating. If I could afford it, I'd set up a teen dating site for anyone to use, which may put people at ease. But at the minuite theres nothing like. So, basically, dating is a no. If people can strike up the guts to ask another out, then thats how you do it. You take someone to the toilets, or an empty classroom/corridor and ask them. I know this way can work. Some people may say no, but if your not scared, theres nothing to worry about. Why not try placing up some posters, and starting a semi-event. You could meet up with some other teenage homosexuals, and talk about things, and try dating each other. This might not work, but try it. Don't post your name, where you live or age. Just make it a meeting for 13-17 Y.O. people. Cover your face so you can't be recognised and things like, unless you want to be open. Creating gatherings are a good idea. You could become a group of friends who are all in a simular boat, who meet down the park every friday night or something. You can swap tips and advice lines and things like. I'm considering trying this out.
There are many more ways that people do not want to say about, when it comes to dating. And I wanted this posting. If anyone has any other ways or information I could include to this thread, please PrivateMessage it to me.
Thank you for your support.
