Lost_Witness, in my opinion, is the worst Hotel Manager we've ever had. How Habbo could let the quality drop so dramatically from the best HM we've ever had, Callie, to the worst.

Lost_Witness rarely updates. When we had Callie we'd get updates all the time. When we do get our rare and lonely update every once in a while it's usually a Celebrity Visit; nothing more than 40 minutes of 'ACCEPT F/R' and about 6 sentences from the celebrity.

Lost_Witness is not active, either. He rarely logs on to interact with the people who keep the site running, the users! Why? No one knows; maybe he just doesn't care.

People say that we are never pleased because we complained about Callie and now Lost_Witness. I never complained about Callie; she was a ray of light for Habbo and brought magnificent change we had never yet seen.

We are back to the grey area of infrequent updates and a hobby that grows slowly more uninteresting with every day Chris holds the HM position.

He needs to be fired, now. Any time longer and only more people will quit Habbo or defect to other hotels. Notice at peak times we're only getting 5-7k? A year ago it was 10-12k. There is the proof.

Callie had TWO assistant site producers, so more updates were made.

People can't be fired just because some users dont think hes doing well. Its a lot harder than that, tbh hes doing a fair job. Maybe callie was just very skilled at her job?

I could do better by the way :) Because us girls are great at multi-tasking. lol. But on a serious note.. it's not as difficult as you make it sound. Habbo staff have time to Socialise during the weekend and after 5:30pm every day, alike all working people, you can't 'Socialise' during your work hours. So you can strike that off of your little list.

Being ill doesn't physically stop anyone from doing their work as Sulake do set up a scheme where Hotel Staff can work from home, as all PC's can access Habbo Hotel, and Habbo Staff are given a personal Laptop each with a registered license to access Housekeeping.

Interacting with Habbos isn't an issue here because it's not hard at all to say 'Hello' or log onto the hotel now and again. There's not a 'LOT' of paperwork as you so put it. Infact there's very little, they mainly do everything via. their computers in the Office, if they have time to update celebrity visits why can't they update 'Every Section of the Homepage'? Because here's a little newsflash for you sweetie... Every other Hotel and Hotel Manager does it without a problem.

Now.. I think I have proven my point on a fair basis to say Lost_Witness is an awful Hotel Manager. So next time you try and be a smart allic, get your facts right first. If he wasn't up to the job description he shouldn't have taken the job.. That's the final hear-say in the matter. I'm finished.. You want to continue rambling now lScott?

I refuse to stop doing something I've done for almost six years with no issues because of one bad HM. As an experienced user I am entitled to complain about issues when I want to. The complaint is based upon a sound principle. If you went to a restaurant and ordered a hamburger and they brought you soup you wouldn't just eat the soup. If you confronted the waiter and they said 'Don't like it? Then leave!' you certainly wouldn't leave. Faulty logic leads to faulty principles and I fear there are far more faulty statements to be heard at your hand. Spare us.

Simon, bad move sweet heart ;) I'm still here... now I'm going to ramble at you. First of all visa didn't write an essay about him. An essay would be much longer and is usually 3 sides of A4 paper long. A severe case of addiction? By having his opinion on what he wants on his hotel? I think NOT! Being addicted would mean he was on it 24/7.. He's not. Because he has no reason to be anymore.

Why should he stop using Habbo Hotel because of a mistake on Sulakes part? If it's something that a user enjoys, and we are the making of the hotel really may I prey to add. So please don't try and telling people to leave the Hotel, because he has every right to say his peice on what he thinks about the state the Hotel's in.. because incase you hadn't noticed it's in an awful state.

Don't try getting clever by spelling the words 'Log Off' because you spelt it wrong for a starter.. You spelt 'Log OFFFF' It would have been 'Double F' not 'Double FF' So I'm sorry honey, there's no golden star for you today. Or any other day for that matter because by the looks of things you don't have two brain cells to rub together for luck or money.

I'm not going to pretend that I've seen every hotel manager, but I will say that off the ones I've seen come and go Lost_witness is definately the most inept: he doesn't prioritise his 'things to do' he should spend less time getting crap 'artists' to come to the hotel and more time updating and socialising on Habbo. Just my opinion

Lost_witness is very lazy with Justine [callie] She brought a little good thing makes it feal good like she good cool events and she did things for the habbo community now Lost_witness just gets celebritys weve practicly never heard off and are crap [ no offence to them ]. Wouldnt mind ione back :D She gived out pressents for HER birthday she was the best but its my opinion! whats yours?

Lost_Witness reminds me of ione and Jibbi, a lot. And personally, I feel ione and Jibbi's approaches were the best to have towards the community.

Callie was a good 'Hotel Manager' - there's no denying that. She's had a massive impact on the UK site, and was very popular while she was HM. But, her approach was too personal... and I think a lot of us realise that now, and understand the disadvantages of this.

I imagine he meant globally. The Canadian Hotel Manager was male once, not sure if he is still in reign. He was said to be useless.

When I last looked, Hotel Managers:

Look after the users.
Do events.
Do updates.
Maybe the odd public showing on TV like UKchaseral did (I think it was him).

He doesn't do any of them "/

The personal approach is more welcoming and warming to a community, As people have menitoned in this thread Chris isn't set to his job. His area was Player Support not Site Producer, His occasional involvement with an event was nice because it enabled him to put his all into it, whereas now its running them quite a bit, and most of them are generally sad and boring. Justine however, would go out of her way for the UK Hotel - She did a lot for it - Yes people complained about the rares etc when she was around, but hey look at how full and exciting it was at the time - to be reading Habbox Forum UK News and Rumours to find something actually worth feeling you'd want to sign onto Habbo for.. ? Not "Lost witness hosts duck capture again" for 30 minutes of his day because he decides to log on Habbo for generally no longer than that.

He doesn't suit his job and I think him being brought into the post was a very stupid thing of Habbo UK to do, and probably lazy because if he'd been employed over people with general running a community experience then their is something going wrong. Chris' job is just a job to him, he comes in does his paper work, assigns his events hes told to interact with the Community in the allocated time he's given, goes home and his social life is probably his life and work is work, with Justine - Habbo was a career as well as her life, she made it her life because she was good at it, and if I was in Justine's shoes and with her mind of running a community - being able to do marketing very well then I'd enjoy it just as much as her.

Chris and the UK Team at the moment are very boring, Colmc is alrite I guess - But when Callie was around things used to be exciting. Also the whole bring Ione back because of the free rares is getting kinda boring now lol - She gave the rares out because the community was small and rares were a new thing back then, not with a 13,000 community behind her =]

I haven't been with Habbo long enough to know what Callie And the others Was like. But I do know, When I joined, it was Callie running the place. And She cared about the people that Actually care! For instance, She Did alot of the Double credits Weekends, But You never get anythign like That now.

And What the Hell is With Lost_Witness and Chinese stuff?!

1, New Chinese non-hc Clothing.
2, Chinese Furni.

Nowadays People are more.. Alternative than Chinese.

But on the other hand Callie came on ALOT More & held alot more events + she was around the Users alot more & seeing what they tho & she put alot of work into it & Mostly got hated but i think she did good tbh

Ione she was gd 2 :) BDay gifts etc Maybe they shud do that for each HM? But then again if they use a @sulake email for Ione and ppl try reset pw LOLZ wud be annoying tho

& The mods i swear MOD-Zippy 5Mins ago :P He was ok he was getting around users in Rooms for once unlike other mods & he was in bb and made Beat The Mod - rofl But then deleted :'(

I think it's hard for you to compare Lost_Witness and Callie to Jibbi and Ione, the Hotel is a lot more popular now compared to when it was. What you said about the Hotel getting 5-7k users as oppose to 10-11k, the difference is hardly that, plus a lot of users before were foreign, now they have their own Hotels. I'm unsure of the statistic but I think I heard somewhere that .UK get 6 million users per month or maybe 6 million page views, either way it's a lot more than they use to. I'm sure it'd be near impossible for Lost_Witness to interact with the Hotel the way Jibbi and Ione did. Also, you don't know what he does all day or what his job entails, I could presume that considering the Hotel is a lot bigger, he would be doing colmc's job but he can't, ergo why colmc was hired?

Ah, you people.

Hotel Manager's job is not to be your friend, ok? They're not hired to stand in the 'Drome whilst you scream how much you love them. Nor are they paid to accept your friend requests, or give you free furniture. What Ms. Ione did was a one off and only worked because the community was a lot smaller, yet people talk about it to this day as if it was the greatest thing EVER.

Now I won't comment on anything else as I don't really use Habbo much, but I find it INCREDIBLY difficult to believe that Mr. Lost_Witness is a 'bad' manager. The site seems a lot more community driven, I don't think it means he's bad at his job. Sulake seem to be changing a lot, and I don't find it that hard to believe that the role of Hotel Manager is changing also - as Mr/Ms. Roboevil says, you don't see all of what Mr. Lost_Witness does.

Still, I get if he gave out free thrones on his birthday your opinions would suddenly change.

In my opinion, I dont really like Lost_witness he was better when he was guest services instead of hm, i think either Jibbi should come back and take the role or a sulake head member of staff such as Becs, Johno or Ione. or even possibly colmc, i like colmc. =]
Callie was far by the best, she did the Thing Last Year In April (The 4 groups Kosmic Kitten, Tea-A Etc), She did The Always salon challenge which was won by Littleredevil, she did the habbowealth games, valentines and habboween king and queens and she did that in 1 year and a few months. What has chris done? Didally Squat Tbh. Oh the shabbolin woopty doo, the majority of those people only did it for the badges anyway.

Anyone that becomes Hotel Manager has alot of potential, if Sulake didn't think that they could deliver then they wouldn't be given the post in the first place.

Lost_Witness' current involvement in the community isn't as great as Justine's but that's because he doesn't dedicate hour upon hour outside work to stay on the hotel and socialise like Justine did. Don't get me wrong, what Justine did was great for the community but for one reason or another Chris chooses not to do this and you must understand that he may have reasons for this.

Lost_Witness is also younger than Justine meaning that he may want to go out to pub's our resteraunts on an evening instead of socialising with his works users, because that's all we are. Users.

As soon as Chris realises that he can go beyond just running Sulake campaigns and starts dedicating abit more 'out of hours' time to the hotel, I'm sure that you will all start to see him in a new light. But until then, we just have to wait.

As for Colmc; He interacts, is friendly, often socialises etc.

Colmc is the future ^_^
