iPod Video.. Worth it? [+Rep]

I think my iPod nano is broken, and I'm looking into buying an iPod video. I've always been a big movie fan, I'm the kinda guy that will watch the same movie over 20 times. Anyway, is it worth buying? I'd probably download like tuns of movies and changed them to mp4..

I would use it on planes and on long drives n that.. but is it worth the money?

They are decent, i've got one and i love it. So, i would recommend it. Also, the videos/movies are really clear on them, so it's good for that too.

I also found out, that ipod video video's are m4v (ithnk?) format, not mp4. When i tried to put some videos onto it.

:o Its weird, because everyone I see has like no acctual videos on theirs.. So it worries me if I wont be able to put it on mine. I've downloaded quite a few movies, but I'd need to convert them to mv4 or whatever it is.

Well if you want movies, Id do the Vision W by Creative. Costs just as much and the screen is much bigger and it has a lot more features. My friend has one, its great, it even has built in speakers. And its really easy to put videos on.

Sounds like you are perfect for an iPod Video. You like to watch movies lots of times.

Some people only watch movies once, which is bad for getting an iPod because you have to download a movie to watch it.

If you could I think there should be a new updated iPod in the next few months because this model has been out for a while. But I always could be wrong and they could stop with iPod videos because of the iPhone.

My brothers got one and hes has like 1000 songs, 3 season of south park, familyguy, 7 movies and even more other stuff. DEFINATLEY WORTH THE MONEY.

I think so. It has photo, videos and music on it. I'm thinking of getting one as my ipod mini is so outdated now.

personally, i don't like them.
the only two things i think that are good that apple have made are the ipod nano + itunes.
i think the ipod video is too big tbh, but i'm not the kind of person who wants one really, it depends if it's something you'd use alot i guess.

its worth the money if you get the high gb video and have lots of movies :)
