i suggest you tell all the X's on behalf of me...that they need to get out...maybe socialize in the real world abit more? Which stupid person would waste 40 man hours on an internet game that won't exactly get you anywhere in life? If people complain, they complain because staff maybe need to hold EVENTS for themselves. They don't ask for Habbo X's or Safety X's to hold events.

By the way who do you people think you are? You have badges, go sit in the welcome lounge and introduce people to the hotel. Don't hold events, thats not part of your job description. I know what you do is voluntary but perhaps...you should pay attention to habbos that actually need guidance.

Also it seems like this hotel is full of suck ups now days anyway; is this the future of habbo;

They don't spend 40 hours each making a event, all of the Xs (About 35 I think) spent that long all together and Redtiz probaly took time emailing them making the entrance and making the pages. Habbo is getting better, dare I say this but since Callie's gone, lots of suck-ups have too. Lost_witness isn't very "suck-up" friendly, nor is colmc. 0rca obviously loves suck-ups but I better not get into that.

You say doing events isn't do to with their job description, very wrong indeed. On applications you have to write down you event ideas etc since they're here to promote safety as well as help the 'newbies' in the welcome lounge.

If you knew each of the individual X's personally, THEN you could make a value judgement on whether they should "get out more" or not. Why waste time running events? If everyone was like yourself and complained, then it would be a waste... but as long as some people attend, some people take part, and some people have fun... then it's worthwhile. Every action you take doesn't "get you somewhere in life". Where does posting on this forum get you in life? People may not necessarily ask for Habbo X's and Safety X's to run events, but I'm going to get to that further down.

When you are Sulake staff and are in a position to make decisions over the X team, then you can tell X's what they can and cannot do as part of their "job description". Habbo X's meet and greet new Habbos, show them around the Hotel, show them what you can do on the Hotel, help Habbos old and new with Habbo related problems, and run events for fun. Lots of events encourage participation, and show Habbos what they can do on the Hotel. Safety X's are safety related, obviously, and often run events to promote Safety - but IMO, events like this are just for a bit of fun. And unless you are Scrooge, seeing people having fun is quite fun for yourself, y'know? I'm terribly sorry that individuals willing to contribute in a selfless way are criticised for going "outside the job description", when you are not aware of what they do in the first place. The X program evolves and expands, and I don't understand why this is another thread with some individual moaning about the X team. No other Hotel or forum seems to have an issue with X's running events - in fact it's the opposite. You say they should spend their time in the Welcome Lounge welcoming new Habbos, but you see miss the fact that the events are additional... for fun!

It's a non-working, non-existent hierarchy. Habbo X's and Safety X's are not "above" normal Habbos. Habbo Club members aren't "above" normal Habbos. Ex-Hobbas are now normal Habbos. And guess what? Staff do live in a real world, and are real people. ;) No such hierarchy exists unless you imagine it does. The more you imagine it exists, the more confident you are that it exists, and the easier it is for you to convince other people that it exists - which becomes a web of twisted truth, based on a hierarchy that does not exist.

Can you make a value judgement on the events if you haven't attended them? Have you been to one? Which one? What didn't you like about it? Moaning like this does not solve anything - why not be constructive? So far, organisation hasn't been an issue. How does other people talking make it unorganised? They are light-hearted organised events ran for a bit of fun. Lighten up, and as they say - don't knock it 'til you've tried it. :)

Great post barmi. All i have to say on the matter is to all the people that are saying 'Crappy events'. Please PM me telling me what events YOU would like to see the eXperts running and i will raise them with all the X's. As there is no pleasing you any other way.
