Welcome to my little post! I'm posting this to help you avoid Casino Scams on Habbo Hotel. They're a huge mark digging into Habbo scams because so many people think they can actually win more than they pay. Well, for most this is incorrect for many reasons.
What are the reasons you don't win in a Casino?
The reasons many people don't win in Casino's is to the fact that many lose. There are good casinos and bad casinos.. the good casinos don't scam you, and if you do happen to lose, it a fluke. It's the way the dice roll. They're never any other ways of losing in a good casino. To read more about good casino's or to find out which casino's are good, read the bottom of this post. However, there are also the bad casino's. The ones which are "dodgey" are usually filled with norms, or very very cheap rares. The owners/dealers of these casino's plan on not paying. They sometimes use scripted dice, or something like. I'll explain more about these further down.
Scripted Dice
Being honest the only major time i've seen scripted dice is in casino's. I don't know how people do it, but they can make them do something. Sometimes the dice will error.. but not always. You can't really be sure if a dice is scripted or not, so theres no way of avoiding it. It dosent happen very often though, now the log-in's and server connections have changed, but I cannot say it wont happen. If your unsure, don't gamble.
Scamming Dealers
Scamming dealers are people who just cant resist stealing. Even though stealing is against the Habbo Way and actually something Sulake can report to the police, people still do it. It's very simple to do. And I'm not trying to give anyone ideas by this thread but, they just don't pay. They fish around at other casino's, viewing how they do their dealing and then do it at their own casino - except without giving anything back to you, weather you win or lose. Some tips to avoid Scamming Dealer's are:
Go to Casino's you trust. If you know the dealer it is better
Always look for Hosts who don't own the room they're usually less likely to be scammers
Make sure the room is popular, so if anything does happen you have witnessesThe Payouts And Bets
Payouts and bets? Whats this then? Well, it's what they claim you can win, and what they say the minimum bet is. If a casino goes around saying "Win 5x back" the chances are they're scams unless they're a specialist norm casino. If a casino says "Rare" in it's title and claims to give you any more than two or three time syour bet back, it's around 80% chance of being a scam. People just don't do the payouts these days. Also look at what the dealer shouts out, dealers do change the payouts and bets depending on themselves. And the bests! Where do I start? If someone says "Rare Bets Only" they usually scam you (by experience). If someone says "Super Rare Bets Only" it all depends. I've never been able to bet at one of those, but they can be good, or bad. They could scam, or they could pay out. It's hard to know because they could have started as a rare casino, who scammed and then became a Super Rare casino. I've heard from my mates that they lose alot in Super Rare Casino's by both scammers and luck. It's hard to say. Tips on this topic:
Don't try your luck in a casino that gives back any more than three times your bet.. they are almost garunteed to scam you.
Norm Casino's are always a good starting point.
Super Rare casino's can go either way, don't use them by advisory. Go for normal Rare casino's that double your bet.Well.. if you have any other information I could add to this thread, please post it below.
