Well don't know if you'd class these as a 'band' but

Westlife- because they are big sell outs. All they are are a bunch of pretty boys who get music written for them, they sing it and get to number one. Thats not music. Their concerts, well at like a iron maiden concert you get crowd surfing, crowd getting on stage (not seen them, just as a generalisation:},) at enter shikari you get laser effects and the crowd surfing, all you get at westlife is them getting off their stools and everyone cheers ' you raise me up *STANDS UP*' WOWROZOR THAT WAS AMAZINGGN:D:D:D

And i don't agree with you saying Blink were talentless. They wrote good music, they made the crowd enjoy themselves and laugh. So saying they were talentless is abit unfair, we can atleast look at the fact that they were all awesome on their instruments.

First of all so what if Billie Joe has 'punk' tattooed on himself? He loves the genre of punk & creates very good music, call it punk or not. Sure they went mainstream but they are still writing good music & they have a space between Green & Day so it's Green Day not Greenday as often misinterpreted "/

Blink 182 are so not crap & talentless. First of all they had 1 of the best drummers in this time, possibly 1 of the best ever{well definately in my opinion}. They also wrote & played alot of good music, all 3 of the musicians. Some of the lyrics were phenomenal! Now why did they have fans? Because people related to their such amazing lyrics & the music was catchy and good - that sounds like a reason to have fans "/ Now, as to having a record label. This is an easy answer and you really shouldn't have asked it. They have a record label because the producers believe they could attract lots of fans & sell plenty of records. And they sure as hell didn't let them down, selling plenty of albums & being one of the biggest PopPunk bands not only at the time, but ever.

Kiddos like you are pathetic - you don't like Green Day or Blink 182 because "they're not like the punk like Clash/Sex Pistols". Sure I'm a Clash & Pistols fan but what you need to realise is music genres change, and just because they don't fit into the music genre you like doesn't mean they lack talent. If theres "so little good music left"{which is complete crap anyway} how about you go & try and make it in the music industry - 'nuff said.

One band that I really can't stand is 'From First To Last'. First of all their singer Sonny Moore - how can females think he is 'hawt' or 'fit xox' I'll never know. Plus I pretty much hate all music they have made bar 1 song.

I agree with Billy Talent, but the worst bands like that are Rise Against and Anti-Flag, particuarly Anti-Flag, it's like make some music with a theme like 'f*ck X' to attract the 10 year olds who think they're politically informed who then follow this bland, unimaginative band thinking they're the second coming of The Beatles, and never actually realise Anti-Flag are not politically informed and do not even explain their views or suggest answers to the problems in our politics. Man I hate Anti-Flag.

Green Day, yeah he does have that on himself, but so what? Look at Tim Armstrong so does he, and TONS of others do. It proves nothing. Billie Joe isn't a poser as most people say, he knows what punk is and was. He grew up at Gillman Street shows for god's sakes. I'm pretty sure that Operation Ivy invited him on stage to play guitar before too. Not sure where I heard that, it could be wrong though.



Blink 182, I wouldn't go around calling people talentless seeing as 1/4 of the Pistols (whom are in your sig) couldn't even play their instrument. Tom is mediocre at guitar. Mark is actually good at bass, sure most of the songs are just repeating the same notes, but other stuff isn't. Check out Carousel, Voyeur, Man Overboard, and most of the songs from the Buddha cd. And Travis, I believe was ranked #30 as the best drummers on some magazine. Point proven.

Mostly, if I dont like a band, I just dont listen to them. I hate people like you that think every band you dont paticularly like, you must hate. Its immature and stupid. I only hate a band if there is something very specific about them I dont like, and usually it isnt because of their music.

Hinder- Because bringing something old back doesnt make it new. They think think theyre so original and awesome for making themselves sound like an 80's band. The 80's ended. Let it go. Move on. Music is all about progression, and going to an old style is setting music backwards and making it worse.
Oasis- Pretty much because the band members are idiots and it's impossible to overlook.
Panic! At The Disco- I didnt mind them at first, but once I saw them simply destroy Karma Police in a cover (why add swears?!), I made the assumption that they are all jerks.

Bands have to mature and progress, and if this is the way they do it, whatever. It would be worse for a band to NEVER change. Who wants to listen to a 30 year old complain about being a teenager? Dookie is still, and probably always will be my favorite album ever, and pretty much the only Green Day album I truely like, but if they never make another like it, its fine with me.

It's a true point actually, Dookie is a strong enough album to stand on its own, but other than that and Nimrod, Green Day have never interested me. It's probably better they change for the worse than stay exactly the same for 15 years, because if they stayed the same you would probably end up hating the good albums as well as the poor ones.

Yeah, they cant make the same album over and over because it would completely take away from what drew you to the first. The fact that Dookie is the only one of it's kind makes it that much more special.

Older albums should be kept out of judging whether American Idiot is actually a good album or not I think.
