Hey guys, how are we all? Lol.

Okay heres the low down! =P

My mum is pregnant and is due on June 4th, so my parents are going on holiday anywhere this year. However, this is a really hard year for me and theres no way I'm spending my whole summer stuck in scotland with a screaming baby, haha. So I'm planning on going on 2 holidays.

The first holiday I'm planning from about 1 - 14 July abroad with my cousin which should be fun.

However, my 2nd holiday I'm just wanting somewhere in the Uk - like a wee carivan park, lol. I'll be going with my girlfriend and some friends so I'd like a decent caravan where I can share a bed with her (haha). Somewhere like Blackpool would be cool, and probably from about the 21-28 July would be good.

However, as it's 2 holidays I'm trying to keep the cost of the 2nd one as low as possible - so I'm looking for somewhere cheapish as well haha.

Any ideas or suggestions for going about booking my second holiday, or any helpful links etc.? :)

[+13rep for all helpful suggestions!] :)

Cheers, have a good night.

Ostinato :)

Haha I dno, thats a kinda old man thing my dad would do - haha.

I'm looking on their site just now, and for like a weeks stay or something divided by the amount of people going it would work out fairly cheap! :)

Cheers x

Because it's the first time I've booked a holiday of such a nature in this country, therefore I have had no experience in the matter so am looking for people who perhaps have and could direct me in the right direction or perhaps offer good suggestions from experience. Is that okay? ;)

Go to Yorkshire. 'Tis Rhubarb festival time! How romantic!

Nah. But there are some pretty scenic areas in and around the north of England if you've never been.

I've decided I wanna go to Blackpool, hehe. Cause if I go elsewhere it's gomnna be a case of basically sitting around the campsite all day quite bored but with blackpool theres the pleasure beach and the tower and all that with loads of bars and stuff, lol.

So I'm looking for somewhere in blackpool! :P

I've found one site and it says it's prices start from £1.50 per person for a week - pmsl =S

centerparcs, maybe?

Ostinato
13-01-2007, 04:09 PM
Centerparcs seems a bit dear, it's like 200pp for a week. I would liek that to go abroad, lol.

I'm looking for somewhere in blackpool maybe. I want 2 DOUBLE beds. I notice a lot of places only have 1 double and 2 twin or stuff, but we'd need 2 double lol.

I'm just looking for somewhere like a carvan really. Even if there isn't 2 double beds we could get 2 caravans with one in each which would be fine.

Keep them coming - I'll start giving rep out now. :)

well, there's a place by me called river dart adventures, we go there all the time - like every year.
i think you should check it out, me and my friends love going there - i have some of the best memories there.
you need your own tent/caravan though.

That place looks great, thanks a lot.

What sort of prices is it though? I'd need 2 pitches, a tent for me and my girlfriend and a tent for 2 other people. I looked at the brochue thing and seen prices, but is that per night?

I think it kinda rules it out. It's the very bottom of London in Devon and I'm away up in Glasgow, lol, so that'd cost liek a further £100 for a train ticket.

Cheers anyway.
