Bornbackwards.com's review of the album;
"Blink suddenly realized that music can be art too, and that you can actually experiment with sounds and song-form. What a revelation! They made a big deal about how they were 'mature' artists now, 'no more **** jokes guys, seriously.' They spend some widely-covered time in the studio building anticipation amongst the mallpunks of America. But when they emerged … they just sounded like Blink-182. Apparently their new sound was basically "Adam's Song", with some extra cowbells and synthesizers. Just in case you couldn't hear how ******* great it was, they made sure to let you know that they were 'feeling it!' Yeah! Probably the worst thing though is that a bunch of idiot mallpunks and 'emo' teens who have never, ever listened to the Beatles suddenly declared that it was a new era in music, that Blink-182 was the greatest band ever and that they had just recorded the greatest album of all time. Sorry, dudes and dudettes, but everybody knows Green Day's Dookie was the best album ever, duh."

I'm gonna have to agree more with that.

the album isn't actually self-titled as many people think, the album is actually untitiled. [:

When an album is left untitled it is often renamed by the fans, for example Metallica's Black Album was left untitled as was Fugazi's 13 Songs.

The album is untitled, correct. And as the member above pointed out quite a few members renamed it as such just to avoid confusion.
