Hi there.

I have been asked to write some stories for a book that's going to be published this October and I really need some ideas. They'll be Childrens Stories and I may even make one of them into a full book if I really like it. The publisher said that he would be happy to publish a book if I was to write one. Obviously it will take about a year to do that though. lol.

What I need now are ideas for SHORT STORIES that are Uplifting for children, so I would prefer it if there were no blood, guts or ghouls involved. So.. Jot away! By the way there will be a 'Thanks to.. *name here*' note against each story to thank you for helping me out and I can also supply a copy of the book for you.

Maybe about a small animal like a dog? Maybe gets a new home and lots of exciting things happen to it such as:

Meets a new friend while being on a walk.
Has lots of treats.
Family go on holiday it goes with it.

Things like that , except choose one of themtypes of ideas. E.G = One day Lennox gets a new home , then explains the home etc. Then nice things start happening to it.

What age group of children? Is it for under 5-s or 9-11's, etc. If you made that clear then I'd be more helpful.

About a little boy who loses his tooth and writes a letter to the tooth fairy and magical things happen?
