Why does my love life stink lol! Serious help! :(

Well, I am starting to like my ex (Not immediate ex, a few girlfriends before that) again, I have liked her for about 2 months now. Only just told my mates today. We are good mates (Not really good, we talk often) I told her how I felt today and she is OK with it. She does have a boyfriend, but last time we went out it was an identical situation, she dumped her boyfriend for me and I then ****ed it up by lying. (I was young, matured a lot now). I am contemplating asking her back out, she is with the same boyfriend and in Math she is always saying how she is annoyed with him and their relationship isn't good. This kinda make think that I could make her happy etc. Should I ask her?
