Yes, Grimsby have taken over Simon Grand's contract. He is currently on loan at the club and they've decided to take him on a permanant basis.
In my view, I'm gutted. It's a bad move for us (Carlisle) as I rate him as a very good player who can play just about anywhere in defence and can even be used as a last resort striker if needed. Never got enough of a chance here at Carlisle. Anyway wish him all the luck for the future :).
Any views from fans that have seen him play recently will be welcomed (esoecially Grimsby fans ;))
