Just a Q About Jobs

I'm not sure about the laws in Scotland, because I think I can remember somebody saying you can get a job at 14? Is this true? I don't mean like babysitting, dogwalking or paper round.

i worked 12 hours a week in a restaurant when i was 14 ^_^

What tease said.. But there is a limit on how long you work, and where.. So you can't go working behind the cigarette kiosk at asda..

yeah, you cant sell cigarettes or alcohol.
& i don't think you can work more than 13 hours in a week or something.

It will be small businesses. Its often the case that you have to be 16+ to work in any big retailers (curry,asda,iceland,whsmiths, etc etc)
