Ok so I made a post on how to prevent quick trade scamming and a couple of people were getting confused so guess what... I've made screenies :P :D.
Here is what I posted:
''Now, I know your all thinking if you get quick trade scammed, it was your fault for ticking to fast anyway but here is a way to PREVENT quick trade scammer. Post your comments and if you think it would or wouldn't work. Anyway...
When you trade someone, instead of being able to just tick the little accept box, you attempt to tick it then a popup comes up saying 'Warning: If you click this box it will stay ticked for 5 seconds' then they definitely know that they want to accept the trade then. I know your probably thinking the pop up would get annoying, but it would just be like the one when your giving away your furni and I think everyone has got used to that. Anyway post your ideas, Thanks :)''
And here are the screenies:

The top screenie is how I got scammed and the bottom screenie is to prevent you from ticking the box quickly. Please feel free to leave good or bad comments. Thanks :)

If they've got the box ticked with a Throne and a HC, and you've got a Throne in...
And then you get a delay for 5 seconds and they close it, wouldn't you be annoyed, you've just missed a HC profit trade.

Yeah but when you bet in a casino or giving away furni that pop up comes up with the scam alert and I think everyone has got used to that.
Thanks for the comment anyway. :)

It wouldnt work because how would habbo know that trading a throne for a throne and hc is a scam? the scam popup only comes up when the person you are trading with offers nouthing.

I submited something along the line of this, but just talking about, keeping the mouse away from the accept box until you've checked the trade.

P.S: I'm not implying that you copyed anything i'm just saying.
And nice idea btw.

It comes up automatically and not by realising its a scam. It would always come up everytime you trade someone. Thanks for the comment anyway.

personally i think its a bad idea, it will make you habbo players miss out on the bargains and mistakes, people should learn not to be so stupid and be more aware.

I guess you're kind of right but for the people who are new and stuff might just help them maybe. Thanks for comment anyway.

An easier way is to not be gullible and don't quick-tick.

If someone says something that sounds too good to be true, then it probably is. I'd even say it always is.
