well without your witty comment you could have actually searched google and found some tutorials on how to use it, probably much better than you'd get here unless they are user recommended and using google would be alot quicker

When I go file > New, it says open texture's,
so I do and it asks to import WAD's or w/e?

In Steam download Source SDK (NOT Base) then open it up and select hammer map editor or something like that. But at the bottom choose what game you want to make a map for :)

How do I make my map a bsp file?

& I d/led some maps, and when I go rcon changelevel <map>
It says no such map/file or w/e.
