Well taking Wi-Fi from your neighbor isnt stealing so Do you take it from your neighbors for internet access? LOL i do. Why pay 50$ for a router when you can get it for free :)

It's illegal unless it's a wi-fi hotspot.

No. I have my own router, which I protect with WEP.

You can steal with pretty much anything that can pick up an internet connection, except the DS. At my house, we don't put WEP or anything like that on the network, there is no possibly way for anyone to get connected unless they're sad enough to go into the drive way or garden... But how would they know about that?

As Xeoro said, isn't it illegal unless it is a Wi-Fi hotspot?

I'm sure there are laws against it. Ours isn't encrypted in any way, shape or form so our connection's exposed to the neighbourhood! (hopefully it isn't that strong...)

I do steal it if I need to like on my PDA etc. Mines encryped anyway but it's a bit of an annoyance if I wanted to go on DS wi-fi as it doesn't support the key I have.

My uncles has WEP, I use it when I spend holidays and weekends up there xD I can't steal any connections here because they all need keys :( lol

Actually, it is stealing, and its also illegal. Technically, you're supposed to be a good summaritan and not use freely available connections, but most people do anyway. So if the person was to discover than their bandwith is being used by by you (and they don't want you to) they are free to press charges against you, and they'll win.
