Fansite nominations not in January, but will be before Spring

In an email from Lost_Witness he said Fansite nominations would not take place in January but would be before Spring.

I asked if I could post the email on here, but although he said I could report on it, he didn't want the email posted.

The reason was that fansite nominations and other big events require "adequate planning" and "there are a number of things we are still looking at".

As far as I'm aware it doesn't want to be and probaly never will be.

No management have ever backed up the idea and in past campaigns habbox has never tried to become official. If Habbox wanted to get official it could easily since of it's 1000s of members. I imagine some Habbo Staff would stop it though as none of them like it, well only a few.

Besides why does Habbox need to come official, most fansites become official to get furni, get the badge and get more visitors.

habbox already has loads, and I don't think the owners are mad about badges like every other newb in the hotel.

Actually we do want it to become official. :)
Also, we have tried to become official before but we were not able to because of Callie's resent for the site. Well... And more reasons of course.

We're not crazy about becoming official, but we do want to be. Firstly, as there is going to be a Fansite Week once a month from now on, the other fansites will start getting a lot more advertising than they used to get, so if Habbox wants to stay in the lead then we need to also have that extra advertising. Habbox is different from the other fansites in that we're not doing it because we want a better reputation (or a badge or furni), and also we wouldn't change anything on the sites in order to become official.
