guns n' roses - just amazing, origional, great guitar + duff is an amazing bassist. axls a great frontman too - although he's one to let the crowd down.

primus - only seen 1 video of them on youtube but the bassist is absolutely amazing, the guitar was okay too.

blink-182 - not exactly the most talented musicians in the world but were very creative + knew how to make it sound good - one of the most popular bands of all time + it was deserved tbh.

Like it or not, The Beatles are the most influencial and most important band of all time. People are still inspired by them today.

But the GREATEST? Its hard to say. It's personal opinion. It depends on the generation or decade. Beatles were obviously kings of the 60's. 70's would probably go to Led Zep. 80's, R.E.M., possibly, maybe Queen. 90's would most likely be Radiohead. This decade will probably be Outkast. Thats right, I said it. They're the only band I can think of that can make hit after hit, most bands these days have 1 good album then you forget them in a month.

Talent-wise, Michael Jackson for singer, followed closely by Ben Burnley of course.

Are you actually stupid? I dunno how you can call "Primus" one of the best bands ever when you've only heard 1 song & rate it for the bassist pretty much, I really am doubting the intelligence of you. If they guitarist was only 'okay' then how the hell do they qualify for best band seeing as you've heard 1 song/video? You make some stupid comments.

And Axl Rose is NOT a great frontman, a great frontman wouldn't hit a fan if the fan took a photo of him and a great frontman certainly wouldn't be an angry violent pig to his fans. End of.

ini think bands like the jam, the clash, sex pistols and some newer bands like blink-182 and green day should be up there, without them, especially the older bands, a lot of the bands that i listen to now wouldn't be around
dont flame me for saying blink-182+green day plz
thnx

Depeche Mode - There song are amazing that they can leave you speechless (i found that), as well as some of the videos. Also, i've seen them live, and they are so amazing there too, the lead is so energetic and stuff, and he can always get the crowd going and get them singing along.

Greatest band of all time if you ask me.

this isn't my opinion, but i'd go by success with public and obviously money terms.

It has to be Beatles / ABBA / thebandwithMikeJagger

And for solo artists, Madonna / Rod Stewart.

Haha, did you know John Lennon wrote the first Rolling Stones song? Apparently they were good friends in high school or something.
