Channel four in trouble? AGAIN!

British broadcaster Channel 4, already facing a backlash for alleged bullying and racist remarks by contestants in "Celebrity Big Brother," is at the center of a new row over comments made in another of its reality shows.
Eighteen-year-old contestant Lucy Buchanan, appearing in the opening episode of "Shipwrecked" on Sunday, said black people were "really bad."


Got this off an American news site when i search Big Brother in google.

It is really lol, As they actually pick them and they edit the show and put air what they want the public to see.
C4 know what is happening and it is there doing and if anyone is upset about it, Its there fault for airing it.

Her comments, were beyond belief. She's your average Middle Class private school girl, brought up with traditions and stiff upper lips. Her remarks were "I'm all for slavery, but i doubt anyone else is" she also said black people are "bad". Channel Four defended themselves by stating that, if you watch throughout the series you'll see her biased views change.

Personally, Channel Four need to question their viewers choice before their ratings, if they offend their views even if it does go to a peak; they'll lose them forever. Channel Four shouldn't lose their licenses, and shouldn't be persecuted for their blatant ignorance for political correctness. They need to be fined by Ofcom though, let them clean their wounds and run home and remember views come first.

People often forget that these programs in question were of coruse reality programmes, where people share their views and do quests. They aren't running along with scripts, so their mouth lets go.

And yeah, I agree about fines.
I doubt its entirely C4's fault, as much as sections of C4. But the publicity, whether bad or not, is still publicity.

and rest are about how everything is ruined for her.
C4 is good channel but after the racist bits going bit downhill
I still watch c4 though for
DH, Ugly Betty, Hollyoaks, are they gonna show lost in aporil like they would of done or will it not and just be perm shown in sky cus that suks cus i dnt have sky tv.
And friends is on C4 thats good some good shows but reality shows are sorta getting bit over the top and ratings have gone down alot apparently.

That wasn't an essay, it was my views.
I simply think they should be fined for abuse of their license and publicly insulting others, or at least allowing it to be aired, any abuse should of resulted in all people causing it to be repremanded and dealt with seriously. Not show it on air and allow the public to view their disgusting rants.

I'm sorry, i think that made no sense but i'm soooo tired.
