Evolution has brung us many things already including some of mans best inventions and findings;

Fire
Wheel
Electricity
TechnologyBut there's one question that, isn't really a question as more as an opinion poll and what is inside your head, thinking.

If evolution has come so far from the stone age, where we didn't even speak a language we can understand now, how far will it go?

Will it go as far as to over-taken by another race or species?

Will we actually get to as far as evolution will take us?

Has evolution actually stopped?

Will evolution carry on forever?

Um... Okay well what are you trying to figure out because technology didn't biologically evolve. If you wonder what humans will become then we're basically going to become the classic alien stereotype. I read an article that scientists predict we'll evolve into a species which has elongated bodies and are completely hairless. I assume at the end of time we'll be an ultimate single-celled organism with the mind of a million species with infinite technology that live forever. I doubt we'll eventually have no use for anything to do with that MRS NERG thing (respiration, growing, energy etc whatever they are). I would suspect we'll be a-sexual as well.

Technology did not evolve, no, but it came along with evolution.

What the hell? There's millions of things we still can't do, of course we're not finished. To be honest though, evolution as the theory works how we need it, i.e if something on land is killing you, you learn to avert it, for instance by sprouting wings or being able to climb trees or fight back, that lot. We have no main enemies or major threats, what's the need of evolution?

I read a while ago that if we actually survive that long, in a few thousand years (like 50,000 or something) we'll grow into a two-race species, with one race being a "higher" race, with the most desirable and strong genes, and the other being a "lower" or "slave" race, which is basically where all the defect genes go. I can see it happening certainly, as I personally wouldn't want to marry someone who's a weak *****r because I want my offspring to remain beautiful and fit, and I'm sure other people hold the same views.

Not really. Thats progression. I guess it is evolution, technological, but not human species evolution. Human species evolution has to do with our actual atributes.

Anyway, our pinky toe apparently will be gone soon in the next stages. And a lot of predictions think, if our species lasts long enough, that we're going to split in two. Because of the super-celebrity world and the me-me-me society, certain people are only dating certain people. Like beautiful people with beautiful people, smart people with smart people, and dumb people with dumb people. So eventually, if it continues, our species will split in two: One of smart, handsome, tall people, and stupid, short, ugly people. Our atributes will be so far apart, we will technically be 2 different species.
