are they really as good as they are made out to be?

my opinion...no

in order to train my mage up a bit on my main acc i decided to go to the fire giants in the waterfall thing

took 1.5k waters and nearly 800 deaths with me...

came out with items with a far less value than the stuff i took in with me

the only reason i went is because a friend of mine had been there n got rune stuff for drops, seems i wasted my time, money and runes :@



so whats your opinions? is it worth paying for or making a ring of wealth?

Ring of wealth affects is to make you receive increashed and higher amounts of gold drops.

I always have it on because it doesn't just increase the gold drop it increases item drop. I was killing dragons and got two dragon skirts, when I wasn't wearing it all i got was mithril shields and everything. It would help to wear it I mean it wouldn't hurt. I think it's ONE of the best rings soo that's just my opinion

correction, as a sort of test, i took it off while i killed a few, the amount of gold i got as drops didnt change

keep it, abd luck on you, I went to the fire giants for slayer, each run lasted around 50 giants, each run i got at least 4 rune scimmies, no ring.

It doesnt increase quality of drop, it increases quanitity.

It doesnt make you have a higher chance to get, say, a clue scroll.

If you get fire runes, ring of wealth gives you a chance that you'll get more fire runes as the drop.

I did the test:

Killed 100 fire giants with ring

2 rune scimmys and noob stuff

Killed 100 fire giants without ring

8 rune scimmys and 2K water runes

I dont think it has any effect!

But at kool tool noob, it dosent affect the drop of items, god.

im certainly not maging them next time, its not worth the cost of the runes.
