The sudden burst of adverts on habbo uk is rumoured to have been started when Habbo and matt willis where on sky news. The music indrusties are getting involved and now random companies are starting.

We might aswell get used to it.

No, it's nothing to do with that.

You see on Habbox.com we have adverts provided by Google? We don't choose those ads, they automatically display.

That's what it looks like Habbo UK have done, they are simply using another company, similar to Google, to display adverts on the site.

None of the companies like T-Mobile or Ultralase have actually asked Habbo to advertise them, but they are signed up to a script that Habbo are using to display adverts automatically.

The reason Habbox use GoogleAds is because it is easier for us to set up than to manually find people who want to advertise and negotiate a deal with them, then collect the money. It's a lot of work, so it's easier to use an automatic advert system.

That is much more likely why the adverts seem random, because they are random.

Would you say no to free money?

And recolours are no bad thing. Thanks to the variously coloured dragons ive made a fair few nice looking rooms (or am in the planning process)

They improve the game with every release (except stacking) and a game is made to be played as is, not to be waited on for improvements. You dont buy a console game just to wait for the sequel dont you?

Yeah true to whoever said no to free money.

I think it was in a interview with some Sulake management member. But Habbo only make half their profits from credits. and other half from advertisements and presumably record lables.

If they can make more profits then go for it!

Obviously they have a controlled amount of adverts they could make it so it's full of pop-ups etc just like a adult website. But thats not very useful for kids and could deter visitors away.

Oh mr 8Freak8 how wrong you are...

The companys DO pay to advertise on Habbo. Why else would they use the MAX ads system which has like a control panel for the company? ;]

But the thing is that the adverts have poped up now and i havan't seen many habbo related adverts like the habbo shop and that.

Also I didan't think I would get a good responce from this so thanks.
