I Lol'd big time when you said wait for Ostinato lol :D,
Back to the topic; As you are best mates I believe you would know if she likes somone else, if yes then it isnt the right time to tell her your feelings, be patient as you are friends for 7 years and surely you would go on for longer maybe forever. How-ever if she doesnt like anyone at the momant just tell her somthing like 'I want to tell you somthing, its hard for me to say but its your right to know...' and carry on like that.. And say that if it doesnt work out or if she doesnt feel the same way to you, that you will still be very good friends . But again, if she likes somone atm then do not tell her, seriously..

I agree with DiscoPat, as your her best friend you would know if she liked someone else. If she doesn't, flirt and see in what way she reacts, if in a good way tell her how you feel & if in a not so good way don't say anything as you could lose a friendship.

Haha aw - how nice! =P Lol. :')

Hmm well it's quite tricky.

To be honest, I think you should wait for now. Try and see if there is any signs of this girl liking you back. Afterall you don't want to go for it when she might want to remain friends, then you've thrown away 7 years of friendship.

If you feel yourself that you guys are like best friends, maybe you should keep it like that. Perhaps you are just confusing your strong feelings of love in a freindship way for that of a more physical, relationship manner.

It's often people do get confused due to the fine line between these, and I have also myself.

I think you should just bide your time and wait and see how things turn out. If you think shes being flirty with you and there is signs of her liking you back - then go for it I say. Even if it doesn't turn out, just tell her you want to remain friends and hopefully both of you will be able to put it behind you and move on.

However, you do need to realise there is consequences in relation to this, and it could cause a bit of friction and awkwardness between you.

Good luck and let us know how it goes. :)

Definitely wouldn't do anything. If you have been friends for 7 years she would have made a move on you by now if she was interested. The whole flirting thing with her will probably just creep her out and make her avoid you. Just stay good friends!
