Hey I found this somewhere on a message board, so i thought id post it here

hat's right! Habbo South Africa is launching it's beta site within the next few months! Sulake has officially planned to launch the FIRST EVER African Habbo Hotel. Based in South Africa's economic capital Durban City, Sulake's South African division will provide the many teens in Durban, Johannesburg, and even Cape Town with their own local hotel.

"We first recognized our South African fan base after seeing a record number of players from Africa using Habbo Australia and Habbo Singapore. We are confident that the South African market will be a great success to our company." said Teemu Huuhtanen, Sales and Business Director for Sulake OY.

The hotel will be based at www.habbohotel.co.za (http://www.habbohotel.co.za/) (the link currently leads to habbo.com) when it's ready for launching in a few months.

I think they meant the first hotel to be opened, which is based in the african continent, as appose to another hotel in asia or europe etc...

Not really, Durban City is very wealthy and big, and thats where the main office will be, There might be one In Johannasburg and Cape Town, Johannasburg is very rich.. Theres people from Zimbabwe in my school, they all lived in big houses, the only places you see poor people is in shanty towns which is on the outskirts of the citys and the deserts :)

Brazil and Portugal are miles away from each other? So they will need two seperate offices... Beijing and South China are different provinces, so they need two seperate Offices, they're also seperate Hotels, so yeah, that kinda hints it.

South Africa isn't very big, so two offices would be a waste of space and money in the long run.

Brazil/Portugal only has one office? It would be VERY CONFUSING if they would have 2 offices, because then there was no clear communication like with Hotel Manager and Staff in different offices.

I personaly don't think they will make much money from this but I will be visiting Habbo South Africa regulary when it opens and hopefully become an X and one of the first players. Perhaps this beta test will be like habbo china one? Giving out free 500 credits (50) and perhaps some scripters will be able to script badges and such, we will soon find out!

To clarify.

Habbo SA will only have one office, based in Durban.

Habbo Shanghai (in Shanghainese) and Habbo Beijing (in Mandarin) on exsited in BETA. You could use the same account to access both and both shared staff. After BETA only Habbo Beijing, the Mandarin version was left.

There is a possiblility that the hotel would only accept South African IPs. Just like Habbo Russia.

I would happy to buy all or summet Lozz, would be nice me and you working together doing rare values and such and it better let all of us on if its going to be english speaking hotel? If not PROXY TIME lol :) I am GETTING on that hotel when it opens and registering loads rare names lol! orginal names then hopefully soon ill become an X and ill register some african type names :)
