128 Days till the festival going to be ace :)

plus i doubt there will be many bands i like playing, i always thought download was a metal festival

the only band i've ever really liked that have played download (that i know of..!) is slayer.
Mcr, Linken Park And Iron Maiden are leading lineup isnt up yet.
Still gonna buy tickets 2mo though :)

Bullet are one of those annoying bands who got too famous off their first album, who are contributing nothing new to a genre and doing the exact same as their peers.

Yeah... we're two very different human beings.
I saw Iron Maiden live, if I could live again I would've saved my money.
So disappointing.
oh and Trivium supported, Trivium suck so hard.

They were pretty boring, probably coz they mainly only played the new album. Besides I hate big shows so that might've been a part of it.
But Trivium supporting just made it really bad.

Yea but They get a bit boring after a while lol and most bands nowadays get like a year of fame then dissapear cos they wear themselves out to quick i mean bullet spent pretty much a whole year touring and theyr voices are ****** but they are like in the middle of theyr new album which is cool

Yes but in 20 years or so im pretty sure people are more likely to remember Iron maiden than b4mv by far lolz

For once, I've actually agree'd with everything YoManGo! has said in this thread.
But MCR's first album was their best by far. I'm disapointed that I didn't get a chance to see them after they released that. I'm stuck with their new crap and an Arena full of 12 year old mini moshers.

If you want a metal festival, travel to Germany and see the Wacken fest
even if that is becoming crap, because a certain band, B4MV to be precise have been put on the bill, there's a petition to get them off with like 40,000 signatures, I'll post it sometime.

Yeah people who didn't give up on Kerrang or at least realise it fails probably enjoy having music force-fed to them through a tube.
It's like nu-metal a few years ago, everyone forgot it pretty quickly, this 'emo' thing will too.
Thing is, FFAF fans probably like Maiden, but Maiden fans would despise FFAF, Trivium was bad enough, but at least that's relevant in the smallest bit.
Bullet for my valentine are brilliant, i cant believe people are arguing against that..
Id love to go to the download festival myself, how much are tickets?

I don't agree, i have yet to recognize any music like theres, i mean like as good as theres..
bullet are the worst band ever produced seconded by trivium. i cannot believe someone would pay to listen to such awfulness. and look at matt heafy, gosh.
download is going downhill. mcr leading lineup? wth, that's not the download i used to look forward to watching at 1am on e4 :|

thought I would never say this but I agree with you there.
I wish slipknot were playing at this years one.. and bullet are not ****, i dont know anyone apart from 1 person who said there ****.. anyway are rise against on tour with mcr in america atm?

bullet are one of many bands playing pretty generic radio-friendly hard rock atm, who get way to much praise when you consider their total lack of originality.
once you dig further into music as a whole you'll probably be embarressed you ever listened to Bullet, I mean, there was hundreds of more talented metal bands before, there will be hundreds afterwards.
believe me, it happens to all of us, I myself used to be a die-hard Good Charlotte fan, I cringe when I hear their songs now.

b4mv+trivium are both the suckage, ive grown bored and tiresome of them, and the metal genre in general
i now realise thats its all 'million notes a second' guitar solos and stuff like that

its repetitive
just like Dragonforce, god help me, i downloaded their album, and every single song sounded the same, seriously, you could sing the words from one song to a different one, and they'd fit in with the music
