You can play it on both, but you would normally use a TV.

need to get the ethernet port thing that goes in the huge hole in the back of your ps2 when you take off the little cap :P

And it says on a game: WITH NET PLAY in white with a blue background, normally udner the big old PlayStation©2 thing ;)
