Many Long running TV shows have musical episodes, admittedly some better than others. Some TV shows you may have seen that have made musical Episodes: Futurama, Buffy the Vampire slayer, Scrubs, Malcolm in the middle and numerous episodes of the simpsons. It's always good to have a plot that isn't riddled with holes, more easily achieved in comedys and sci-fis. My favourite is the musical episode of Buffy the vampire slayer 'Once more, with feeling' which sees a demon which causes people to sing is summoned to sunnydale. Another recent sucsess was the episode of Scrubs which sees a patient who is convinced that everyone is singing aired on American TV.

Sometimes it bores me. I've seen the episode of scrubs that is in the picture and it was okay.
I don't mind them if they aren't very common, as for scrubs I believe that was the first and only one in 1-6 seasons.

Correct, This is Season 6 episode 6. I don't always like musical episodes; as you say it's about their reocurrance, I hate all musical episodes of The simpsons (cartoon musical episodes are usually crap)

Very much so, Tara's death hit me quite hard and watching this episode and seeing Willow and Tara happy for a brief time made it better. Plus, Buff and spike kiss! OMG I loved that bit. Best on screen couple ever! Especially that episode where they are having sex and end up knocking down a house. lol

The musical episode of "Two pints of lager and a packet of crisps" always makes me laugh, and each song takes on a different genre. Its really quite funny.
