Msn Messenger Better Than Yahoo! Messenger?

MSN = More contacts, more chance of being hacked, more chance of the server dying, audio is bad quality, web cam is good quality.

Yahoo = Good quality Audio, audibles, better Emoticons, different webcam settings, much more easier to use, all the time i have had it it has never crashed.

I clearly like Yahoo as it is more safer and reliable.

Yahoo can do everything msn can do, and do it better in most cases. Nerly all the new fetures in msn 7 have been copyed of yahoo.
Athogh the new writing abilty in the posts is superior to the doodle on yahoo, which is msns on defalut plus.

The only other plus for msn,doesnt have much to do with the messanger itself, but its uses, aka who creat, msgplus.net. and stuff ng plugins etc

More people use msn, which is the main reason it's better.

I only use Yahoo for voice convos, but now Skype does that :)

I prefer Msn and most people do use it.... and jacko is right audio is now good with skype :p Can be a pain though as it lags your pc badly :s

since when? yahoo tells you that sort of stuff. Plus it doesnt have teh giant list of blocked exstntions like msn does, which means its fra more useleful, as long as your smart enoigh to tell whats oviosly a virus and whats not :/

MSN gets hacked many times more than Yahoo. MSN servers die all the time. Yahoo hasnt ded for me and I have had it over a year.

v6 is a masive impovment on 5, complty redesinged, previosly it was nothing speacl, but 6 put it hugly above msn. msn 7 has put msn back in the running with yahoo again, so id say overall there more aless equlal athogh i still prefer the way yahoo does things over some of msn. Athogh msn does have the realy good doodle in normal converstion thingy.
so more aless equal, athogh keep in mind, msns a whole version ahead of yahoo, so id exspcet a yahoo 7 to again domainate msn 7, as yahoo 6 did to msn 6

MSN file filters one of the reasons i dont use it. if i need to send a file, nerly all of them are banned. As msn dont seem to realise you can attach vertaly any exstantion to a virus. And theyve just randomly banned all the ones used so far.
Im sticking with yahoo. athogh more people tend to go on msn, there mainly just browsers, rather than anyone particlay invoved with anything on the net.

You sent me a harmless file once that was banned, I am sure of it. Also sending files through MSN is agonisingly slow while on Yahoo it is fast and it opens up a new box

but yahoo is skinable, so you can choose your own skeam. Plus yahoos just as user friendsly as msn? in what way is it less useerfirendly? yahoo even provides its own help bot

I always preffered Yahoo parts like the games actually WORK! and they are decent.
Although I prefer the MSN Style, a mix of the two would work brilliantly, but it aint gonna happen.

Trillions just a paid version, of something multiple sources give free. integrity messenger, gaim, im2 etc. all roughly the same thing.
Although I prefer the others as they don’t force contact list merging (like trillion did when I used 2 use it) although u can if u wanted. and also have less compatibly issues

MSN may be more popular, but yahoo in my opions still holds the uperhand. the only thiung that makes msn better is msgplus. and thats not by defult part of the messenger so im not counting that in my opion

Out of all of the Instant messangers themselves, AIM is the best. It may look boring but really I think its better. It doesnt bother you. On MSN I always have these things that pop up on the sides :rolleyes: Yeh I have IM2 but I use trillion more because I have a lot of skins on trillion :D Im too lazy to get more for IM2.

I have basily every messanger out there also.

Im not particlay kean on AIM, tahogh iove nevr used its defult client :/ , plus its basicly a rip of of ICQ rather than a messanger in itself (welll tecnicly it is actaly just a rebranded and sligtly mopdied icq) "/
