View Full Version : Help.
Hey,
I am doing my sats one year early,
and having my options this year.
For my GCSEs.
So could you explain to me about them.
What is better GCSE or BTEC?
What should I pick and why?
Anyway,
Thanks.
+REP to anyone who helps.

i'd advise you to take gcse subjects. At my school it's just B-tech in PE and IT where you'd have like 10 lessons a week of it and i know kids who tell me they reget taking it sitting infront of a computer screen for 4 hours a day. But to be honest just pick what you enjoy at the moment

BTEC is better beause if you take your GCSE's and fail, and cant get into college
you will need to re take until you can do A levels or BTEC, also it depends on if u like it or not and what level btec it is, if its level 1, then dont bother, go for GCSEs but if its 3 then go for it! if its 2 then depends if u want to do btec in college and go for the specific sector etc

true, well if you fail and don't get the C you can still get into college just maybe not get on all of the courses you want. But if he's taking them a year early i'm guessing he's smart enough to get atleast a C.
all you suck my ...

It depends what subjects you wanna do.. If one is a BTEC then do a BTEC, if its a GCSE do a GCSE. Remember whateveer you pick your going to have to do for two years, and its always going to be with you on your CV and stuff. Do what you feel that you are good at, what you enjoy, and what you could achieve high in. :)
