DS WIFI HELP URGENT +5rep!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well everything is going smoothly, im using the usb and well i've set up the cd and everything then using mario kart i go 2 the connect to your nintendo wi-fi usb connector and it then looks for the registration thing and works, then it goes to the connection test which is where the problem begins it goes for a while then at the end it says:

Error Code: 51303

Check to confirm the nintendo wi-fi usb connector is operating properly and i have but still nothing? :s

Edit: Now its saying unable to obtain ip address make sure the usb connector is functioning properly

I thought the DS wanted WEP codes to operate? Or have you connected a Wireless Receiver to your DS?

a wireless wha? ok go 2 wfc then go to nintendo wfc settings then wifi connection settings then "connect to your nintendo wi-fi usb connector" and thats what i have and then i have the problems that i stated...

It's for the DS aswell, the same settings apply.

by the way, my wep code for my ds is my phone number with the first number taken off..

you need a wep key, when i didnt know it a few days ago, it got to retrieving ip adress and it said that it coudnt connect.
same happened with my psp.
it should be solved if you get a wep key

I dont think you need a wep key for the ds one though but you may do depending on how its encrypted.

if you use that connector for the usb, then you dont need one.
you need one if you have a router though

oh.... i coudnt get it to work until i went to control panel and made my connection shared. it changed everything after that

i pm'd u viper and i've got the usb connector and i've tried sharing it but still didnt work, how do i find out my wep key? as im using a usb connector and not a wireless router... also i've pm'd u about wot i put in each 1 so thanks for helping both of u aswell +rep :)
