Mine is really confusing..

I was born in England, my family is mostly English. My mum was born in Canada but has lived over here since she can remember.. So that's half Canadian, then I've got a bit of German in my mums family, I think some Irish somewhere in my dads, and also either my great-grandad or my great-great-grandad was black but Im not sure where he was from, so i have loads of different blood in me...

I am English. I don't care if my Grandparents came from Ireland or whatever I am still English (they didn't but an example)

If you are born in England you are English, it doens't matter if you had relatives from another country. If you were bron in England and go to live in America you are still English but living in America.

I agree with what you mean Dave. That is a real nationality.. but I dont actually have one, because I was born in England and my mum is Canadian. My mum and dad were never married so my dad doesn't count. I was born with no nationality, I can tget a passport, I have to either change my nationality to English which can take years or I can change it to Canadian.
