Give up thats a crap account
thats harsh, -rep for that!
it is not a crap account, a pure account isnt for everyone
anyway, a good way to train combat is to do slayer assignments, they go hand in hand, and you get xp for 2 skills at the same time =] plus some of the monsters drop valuable items or even clue scrolls.
for some assignments you can be set some of the monsters named above by other people.
its what ive done so far, and im not intending on changing the way i train tbh, plus it gives me a variety of things to train on and i get good drops at the same time :D

"Touch", I feel bad for you.
You come onto a forum and start telling people what is "crap", when you yourself are the explanatory word for that.
The fact that you come on here and say that an online game account is "crap" is already putting you under the label "Loser who sits on the computer all day".
As lame as that is you were probably abused at a young age and now your just taking it out on an online community.
Please see a therapist ;) best of luck
Alex,

I agree with you, and if touch thinks you can wear rune armour at any level, he obviously doesnt know a clue about the game, such as you said.
I believe you need to complete a certain quest just to wear the platebody.

Dragon slayer is needed to wear rune Platebody.
Touch has got a funny avatar, other than that, you spam.
I agree with Lysomome you wont ever get bored doing slayer tasks. You get to kill different monsters all the time. Problem is that you may not be killing the good monsters with good exp.

I hope that wasnt directed to me rofl.
anyway, am I able to switch assignments?
If so, how?

You can switch by going to a lower level assigment. And no, not directed at you.

Im actually trying to get a higher level assignment.
the slayer master in burthope says :im very strong and should see the slayer master in canifis.
I dont want to walk there just to find out I have to complete my current assignment.

It should work.

where slayer tasks are concerned...
firstly, you should buy an enchanted gem if you havent done already
when you use the gem, the slayer master that talks to you is the one you should go to, because the slayer master that you get tasks from depends entirely on your combat level, the higher it is, the harder the slayer master you need to go to
as for xp for the slayer skill, depending on your task, the slayer xp you get for killing each monster is equal to the monsters HP. so for example, killing 10 monsters that have 50 xp would get you a total of 500 slayer xp
the combat xp you get isnt affected, you get the same xp as you would normally.
if you get a task that you think is too hard, then you can go to the slayer master in burthorpe to change it for an easier one
note: you can only go to burthorpe to change a task, none of the others will let you change it, they will just tell you that you already have something to kill.
hope this helps :)
oh and another thing:
if at any point you get killerwatts, change it, they are a pain in the backside to kill, they have an attack style thats awkward to fight, mainly because they always hit you for at least one because they have a ring of recoil sort of retalliation, ontop of their normal attack style. so unless you have a LOT of food, dont bother.
infernal mages are pretty hard aswell, again, without lots of good food or prayer pots OR very good armour with a high magic defence i wouldnt recommend it.
