Prince Does Foo Fighters cover

During the Super Bowl half time show, Prince covered Best Of You. Thats right, Prince covered possibly the worst song in history, and surprisingly-- made it better. Ill have to watch again, but he ACTUALLY made the song somewhat decent. The solo was pretty much amazing (like all prince solos) and he actually did it in a passionate way, unlike the original.

He explained it pretty well. Its just nothing. It's emotionless. It goes absolutely nowhere, the song stays exactly the same for every second. It doesnt have a climax or a hook or anything at all.

When Prince covered it, he actually did something to it, even though he didnt do the whole song.

Because people are unaware that its my opinion? I dont see the need to say "in my opinion" since it's obviously an opinion in the first place. I didnt say thats the way it actually is. And I show no bias on this, I am in fact a very big Foo Fighters fan, and I can say with every ounce of me that Best Of You is possibly the biggest disappointment of a song I've ever heard.

Well I didnt mean it to come off that way. I think its because I like them so much that I hate that song so much, hard to explain.

And I wasent watching for Football, I was watching for commercials. But I was rooting for the Bears because I like an underdog.

Oh yeah, The Fossils--I mean Rolling Stones-- last year were pretty disappointing. They're just way past their time now. People will say "youre never to old to rock and roll!". But you can definatly be too old the play the Super Bowl half time show.
