ok get like another 512 of RAM cos i have vist home premium with 1 GB and it can be a bit slow when i am using a few programs, so maybe a 1GB + 512MB and it should run smoothley

Should I downgrade it to Vista Home Basic?

If you're getting Vista Home Premium, you WILL need to get a better graphics card. You still need a quite good graphics card for Home Basic

Dont downgrade because basic is no way as good as premium but like people have said you might need a better graphics card and like i said maybe more ram.

If your gona go vista, i say do it properly, upgrade to vista ultimate, put in a better graphics card, and ad another gig of ram.
