I'm guessing that Obby Shield is better then Rune Kite Shield, but how much better is it? Is it wearth buying? I don't wanna waste my money if it's crap.

It's a bit better but most people but it because it looks cool and goes with dragon etc...

Oh dear, thats my poor effort at making the stats simliar.

Anyways, obby shield has a +5 str bonus, and a much better range defence. However, the rune kite has better defence overall.
Obby looks better, but costs way more.

The obby shield has better stats as Charles pointed out. If you don't want to pay the extra expense you could try your hand at killing the level 145 tzhaar monsters and hope for a shield drop. You may even get an Obsidian Cape while you're at it aswell!

They hit through Rune alot yes. I suggest taking lots of food/ ranging if you have decent range.
