Tbh, I think that they should rule the world... Nearly literally.

They are great and anyone who thinks otherwise that I don't know should be shot. By a group of rifle-toting maniacs... Then burned by pyromaniacs... Then revived as undead soldiers for Bush. Then nuked by North Korea/Russia.

Your thoughts pls. xD

Upcoming? Do you know nothing of this band, hell I know they've been around for a while to know they can't be 'upcoming'. The lead singer can't sing for **** but the others play their instruments pretty well - just play crap music really.

Yeah they have bags of talent, but talent's irrelavent if it's not used in the right way.

I kinda see them as the sort of fad band that comes along every few years and become really popular and people become scarily obsessed with them (think The Darkness), but after a while people get bored of them and embarressed they ever went along with the fad.

Like Gangster said though, they've been around a while now, but I spose they only really broke through to the mainstream with Inhuman Rampage.

So Dragonforce, talented, fun, but forgettable too.

Their songs are way too long for their own good.
They all try to out do each other with their musical ability.
They seem to repeat their riffs too often.
The singer just looks & sounds annoying.

I can't see them having a major impact on music, or being a band everyone could name in about 20 years time (like Guns n roses, Iron maiden, etc.)

yeah that too, the songs are too long its like
'omg lets pretend we're hardcore metal and do an album with only 8 tracks but the tracks are like 26 hours long'

I think even Opeth get boring ''/
Ghost of Perdition was a masterpiece of a song though

That was a good song, but Opeth are the masters of long songs really and only band to properly get away with it, Deliverance is a classic example.

I kinda like Dragonforce, I find it funny that they were inspired by GameBoy music..

they just play over complicated solos and riffs etc... its like "oh look at us we can play guitar fast, we must be gods" its just... nerd music... complicated and pointless... then look at something like kyuss, simple and hypnotic riffs!
