Hello,
I'm looking for some short term investors for a big project of mine which should be released by the summer time (July-ish), for this I require either donations or investors to get the project going.
I need approximatly 3 investors who are willing to invest £10 each to kick start the project.
The project is hopefully going to be a massive vBulletin community, with subtle advertising to reclaim money for the investors.
The forum hasn't yet got a name, or domain but I have sorted some hosting out for the forum, so I can begin development shortly.
The forum is going to be a key internet meeting place for young(teenage) bands and artists, where they will be able to talk, and post their latest recordings.
This project is pretty much guaranteed to succeed, as there are plenty of young bands/artists who wish to make it big, which will post their new singles and chat in the hope for some new fans.
I have 2+ Years experience with server maintainence and Vbulletin Administrating, as some of you may already know.
What do you get if you invest the small price of £10?
Not only will you get an equal share between all the investors of the money raised from the advertisment, you will be given Super Mod positions with the potential to become admin's if you are considered trusted and dedicated.
This is a short term investment, but a long term project.
NOTICE: I am not looking for staff at the moment, so please do not ask, I am only looking for investors.
thanks alot for your time.

Sounds like a good idea.
Yet its been done HUNDREDS OF TIMES BEFORE.
It is not likely to succeed.
New bands go to MYSPACE, etc to start getting popular not a small 'teen forum'.
Sorry, you're a teen - not a businessman.

Good luck with it ;) Only thing I am thinking, if you think you can regain the money quickly... Why would you not put it in yourself? Get committed and put your finance on the line. Myspace, youtube, ebay and on these websites are kings. They spend millions on advertising and development. Myspace uses this idea, so does bebo using bands and artists. Anyway good luck with it all

God you lot are so stupid.
You don't appeal to people through myspace.
@:adam - Wanna bet? I've probably made more money in this past year then you ever have. ;)
The site would attract those who are not internet savvy and do not use the likes of "bebo" and myspace.
Also, Myspace is just profiles, With a globally advertised forum (Outside of the net advertisment - which I would be paying for, you would get alot more interest :))

Tom, may I ask what you require the money for? £30 is peanuts if it means getting a share of the business.
I am also prepared to supply the hosting if you need, free of charge of course.
PM me if possible

Well my problem is your idea is pretty poor. A Vbulliten community is nothing new, there are tons of em out there, most are already much larger than yours, and you dont even have an orignal topic? why would people leave a massive well established site to go to yours?
Secondly, if you can afford a vb licence why would you need £30.
thirdy, what planet do you come from "The site would attract those who are not internet savvy and do not use the likes of "bebo" and myspace."
***? A forum use tends to be alot more internet savvy than a myspace user, of which there are litrally hunderds of millions, most of which whom can bairly operate a computer. Myspace has got about as far from a tech savvy userbase as you can get and has a manoperly over online bands, it alown has launched peoples music carears. Some little forum cant compete.
So personly i think its likley to flop, hence see no reason to invest.
