Scam, you only but a already registered domain from somebody. Why would you buy a domain from someone you don't even know? And you can get .net domains for like 4 dollars Us from a trusted company.

It's not a scam, it's just him trying to make a bit of cash. Some people will be grateful.

Although, as someone else said, most people have their preffered domain registrar, like GoDaddy is mine (Cause you can get domains for like £1.20 if you buy hosting for like... £2)

Darrells right for example xeo may not be the cheapest but its quality so you buy from there, this could be a similar sort of thing.

The thing is with these kind of things, most people like the company they go with 2 have 3 things:

Cheap prices

Good reputation

Good support

But if the company, has a good reputation from a few people, and say you buy 1 domain, and it works out ok, then your not going to want to change because of the fact that, you might be dissapointed, or waste your money, on a completley untrusted "company", but, you need to give people a chance, or none will ever give you a chance.
