Have you ever pierced yourself like your ear
or anything?
If so, how did you do it
and does it hurt?
Edit - i've just realised this is in the wrong section .. i think

my mate did his ear and he just used a needle. He just kept pushing until it went all the way through I thought it was nasty

I've done my own eyebrow, but had to take it out for school :\
I think it's fine if you use proper piercing needles and gloves.

Yeah, many times.
I have a high pain tolerance, It shouldn't hurt you. Just make sure you use a nice sharp needle, never do it with a blunt one, and a handy tip for doing ears, place a hard fruit on the opposite side, like an orange or an apple, its much easier to do that way as the skins more firm.

Probably not the best idea then..
But I suppose if the needle was sterilized it'd be fine.

I have no idea how to pierce yourself but in Parent Trap one of the sisters had to pierce the other girls ear.
SHe used ice to numb it (like someone said above)
Put a piece of apple behind the ear (I really don't know why, maybe to rpevent it piercing into your neck?)
The she got the needle and jabbed it into her ear.
[She makes a screaming noise]
There you go!

rofl, how did she push it through?
you have no where to put your finger on it, unless you grasp it which would be hard to put pressure on it or put a cork on the end or something? :s

If you can handle the pain then it might be better NOT to numb it, as the healing process takes longer if it's been numbed - hence why piercing parlours don't (or shouldn't if they do) numb/anaesthetise you for piercings.
I'd suggest getting the right equipment; some clamps at the very least, and if you can get hold of them some sterile hollow needles. If you're doing it with a safety pin then sterilise it in boiling water, and you'll still need clamps really, and if you're doing your own tongue (not advised) make sure that there isn't a vein where you're about to pierce. Some people have veins in different places on their tongues, and you don't really want to pierce one of them because it's messy, painful and you'll probably have to go to hospital.
Whatever you do, if you're going to pierce yourself then make sure you know what you're doing. It's better to spend £20-30 on a piercing that'll be well-placed and safe than get a free hole in you that's off-centre and infected.

Lol I think I went through the piercing process the safer way. Go into Claires Accesories and they have like a stapler thing some people will know what I mean :) . But personally I would get professionals to do it because its cheaper now a days.

Get it done by professionals. It didn't hurt me at all. It just felt like a pushing feeling on my ear but no pain was there. It looks intimidating but trust me, it really doesn't hurt.
