Just recieved 2 messages from friends saying "*REMOVED*"

DONT

It brings up a fake login like *REMOVED* used to do back in the day. They send the above message from your account to your friends list.

You have been warned.

If a mod removes this for naming scammers, itll be on your consience when someone falls for it ;)

I went on it the other day. I noticed I just randomly signed out of Habbo for some reason, and the name of the site I was on (www.habbo.co.uk/client) chnaged to some Habbo thing.

i always load up the client.action, and i went afk, come back, and it was the oldhabbo login, before habbo homes, lol

if you typed your pass and that then you got scammed.

unless theres a download on there, then i doubt you have a keylogger.

When on the site; it will load the following window;

The two red boxes show;


The fake URL of the login.
The re-direct source code from the first page.

Once you enter your details, it then leads to the 'you have timed out' screen.
However, I didn't get the pop-up until I allowed pop-ups from the site. Firefox blocked the popup for me.

I advise anyone who thought it was the real window to change their password asap.

It makes me laugh how many of you actually went on it when i said "Dont go on it" -.-

Its way past the edit limit now. Its not like Im advertising the site, and I clearly say dont click on it. Therefore anyone who does is stupid and it's their problem.

That rep was for posting a link to a scam site - whilst it may seem obvious to you, there are a lot of people who wouldn't read the thread, just click the link and get tricked. Just be ambiguous so no-one could find it, but so people who know what it is know what you're talking about. Read WiseBen's announcement to see what I mean :)
