Hatches/Gates on top of each other

Is it possible to get 2 hatches/gates on the same space? Ive seen it before but no-one has told me how to do it, and I've asked around and no-one seems to know. Any help?

It's not possible any more, it use to be but because of all of the patches that Sulake have added your now unable to do it.
